LAURYN MARIE

Lauryn Marie is a singer, songwriter, and producer from Northern California who is currently based in Nashville, Tennessee. With her thoughtful lyrics and evocative melodies, Lauryn Marie combines folk, indie-rock, and bedroom pop to create sincere and relatable songs that aim to reach all types of people. Singing her whole life and writing since she was eleven, Lauryn has always had a passion for sharing her heart through music.

 

Inspired by artists like dodie and Maisie Peters, she began the journey of sharing her music with her YouTube channel, where she has been posting covers and original songs regularly since 2015. In 2017, she started independently releasing music that she’s produced in her bedroom on streaming platforms, with her first single “The Romantic” now at over 3 million streams on Spotify. In 2021, her song “Walk” won first place in American Songwriter Magazine’s annual song contest. Recently, Lauryn has been playing live in venues in Nashville, Northern California, and London, with hopes to someday tour the world.

In 2024, her series of videos predicting what songs on Taylor Swift's new album The Tortured Poets Department might sound like, based on titles alone, took off on Instagram and TikTok. She finished 5 fan-favorite prediction songs and turned them into her new EP, called "Using My Words."

She is now working on her fourth independently produced EP, due to be released in the fall.
